Greetings all.
Still no sign of a finished song, BUT, I've left the mic in its "holster", so i clearly mean business.
Thinking of doing an acoustic version of The Libertines track don't look back into the sun. Which could be interesting. or it could be shite. Who knows.
Going to see Babyshambles tomorrow for inspiration!

Well here I am again with more excuses for not uploading anything.
Using the powers of the internet I've managed to get together with a local drummer and singer, which is great news. Yeah.
I'm going to make a conscious effort to record either the whole band, or just myself, soon...

EXCITING NEWS (well, for me anyway) I'm going to see Jack Johnson in February!
Just thought I'd rub that in..thanks.
Anyway, as im going to see him I thought i'd make my next cover one of his - I'm gonna do Traffic In The Sky.
EDIT: I've lost my plectrum.
EDIT2: I've still not found it.

Finally got over my cold!
I'm really suprised people actually read this, most of the time its just random waffle, but hey, heres some more for ya.
Been workin on a new cover, It will be quite different from the last one. This time, I'll probably be singing it (if i can muster the guts) and i'll probably be playing on it too.
The list has changed a bit since last time:
The Libertines - France (the acoustic bit at the end of What Became Of the Likely Lads)
Oasis - Talk Tonight
Jack Johnson - Traffic in the Sky (my preferred choice)
Pete Murray - Beautiful
Howie Day - She Says
Hoping to have some time over the next week to record one of these!
Thanks for everyones feedback.

Well the weekends here, im all ready for recording something, and i have a stinking cold. Great, looks like i'll have to put it on hold for a bit.
I've also got an exam to be studying for but its so frustrating committing time to exams which dont mean anything to me.
Thinking about doing one of the "obvious" covers next just to get a few more listens so I guess its from:
Time of your life - Greenday
You've got her in your pocket - White Stripes
Do you remember - Jack Johnson (that might be a bit ambitious)
Talk Tonight - Oasis, or infact anything by oasis.
If anyones reading and has any suggestions, that would be great too.
Right, im off to blow my nose. Again.

So, first song out of the way. Looks like it went pretty well, we know its a simple song but we just needed to get off the ground. Thanks for your feedback too.
That was Rob on vocals btw, reckon we might alternate or something. Until the originals are done (dont hold your breath tho) we'll probably sort out more covers.
I'm thinking France by The Libertines. But I guess it depends how i feel when i get around to it.
